This course is open to persons graded orange belt and green belt. It provides an introduction to the teaching of jiu jitsu and will prepare students for teaching basic techniques to beginners.

Participation in this course is required before grading to purple belt. Green belts wishing to grade this semester may do so provided they are registered for the course. Yellow belts may also register for this course if they will be grading this semester.

Please wear casual clothes for the classroom portion of the course, a gi is required for the practical section. Please bring your Jitsu Canada record book to the course.

Attendance is at the discretion of your club instuctor.

Senior Jitsu Canada instructors will be teaching courses at selected clubs this semester. These courses will occur on regular club training nights.

These courses are designed to make courses more accessible to all students as they require no travel, and less time commitment than the weekend courses.

This course will allow more senior students to train together and focus on aspects of the senior kyu syllabus.

Sensei Dobie will be in Ottawa to teach the session after the Junior grading. Please note the 30 minute start time difference to the normal session time.

Non-Gladstone jitsuka are welcome to attend for the normal drop-in fee of $10.
