Event Info: The Trent University Jiu Jitsu Club is negotiating the purchase of some new mats, so once again we are holding a fund raiser in the form of a Sponsored Throw.  The event is open to all Jitsu Canada members who are interested in participating.

The Junior class has changed schedule. It is now Fridays 6:30 PM -  8:00 PM.

There will also be a free practice session for adults 8:00PM - 10:00PM - There will be no formal class. This is a chance for you to come to the dojo and train on anything specific you may wish to improve. Senior grades will be there to answer questions.

Senior grades, this is a chance to work with other senior grades on material that is not always covered in class.

Since we are now open Fridays for an extra training session. Sundays may not continue unless there is a request from a considerable number of students. You may contact one of the instructors for further information.

Sat 10 am to 6pm, Sun 10am to 4pm

This course is open to persons graded dark blue belt and above who have qualified as instructors. It provides in depth information on the teaching of jiu jitsu and will prepare students for becoming a club instructor.

Participation in this course is required before being appointed club instructor.

Pre-requisites:

Jitsu Canada Instructor Qualification Current St. John Ambulance Standard First Aid (or equivalent) CPR Level 'A' (Heartsaver) issued within the previous 12 months.

Qualified Club Instructors are welcome to attend free of charge to re-certify.

Grade Level: Persons graded purple belt and light blue belt who are qualified assistant instructors
Event Info:

This course is open to persons graded purple belt and light blue belt who are qualified assistant instructors. It builds on the information given in the Assistant Instructor Course and will prepare students for planning and teaching entire sessions.

Participation in this course is required before grading to dark blue belt. Light blue belts wishing to grade the day before may do so provided they are registered for the course. Green belts may also register for this course if they will be grading this semester.

Please wear casual clothes for the classroom portion of the course, a gi is required for the practical section. Please bring your Jitsu Canada record book to the course.
